Plastic surgery is one of the broadest surgical specialties covering Major trauma, Burns, Hand surgery, Head and Neck surgical oncology, Cleft lip & palate surgery, Aesthetics and much more! UoDPRAS has run its own events as well collaborated with other societies. Our most recent events have been: 2022 MARCH: INSIGHT INTO PLASTIC SURGERYA virtual event exploring Plastics and the pathway to becoming a plastic surgeon. 2022 FEB CONFERENCE: SURGERY BEYOND BORDERS in collaboration with Dundee Surgical Society UoDPRAS teaching hosted suturing stations in microsurgery and surgical knots. We also hosted a successful Art exhibition which can be viewed on our Instagram page! 2021 VIRTUAL TEACHING SERIES: During the COVID pandemic we moved online and hosted exciting teaching sessions in Plastics. We also post little snippets on different topics in Plastic surgery on our Instagram page.
