Hello and welcome to Dundee!! We are DECCS (Dundee Emergency and Critical Care Society) and we’re the society passionate about everything emergency medicine, anaesthetics, pre-hospital medicine and critical care (basically the cool, exciting parts of medicine). We’re one of the biggest, most active medical societies running loads of events throughout the year including…

• Our famous (award winning) ABCDE nights- a staple of the Dundee med student experience and domino’s pizza is always served

• Pre-hospital day- we set cars on fire at this event…

• CODE RED conference- a full day of trauma/ emergency medicine including a realistic hands-on simulation with lots of fake blood, burns, fractures etc.

• Practical skills events where you can try your hand at procedures you wouldn’t normally get to do in medical school AND MUCH MORE!

While there is the small issue of a global pandemic making this year a little different, we have been working really hard to make sure we can still give you guys the best DECCS experience and are really excited for what we have planned.
