GP Society

Dundee GPSoc are a team of Dundee University Medical students who are passionate about pursuing a career in general practice. Through our society we aim to improve awareness of the career opportunities available in GP and also provide teaching events relevant to the field.

In response to the situation regarding Covid-19, we have been looking at ways to increase our society’s online presence. We are currently organising a National Webinar series in collaboration with other Scottish GP societies to provide insight into the vast diversity of opportunities which exist within general practice. We have also been working on developing our very own website. We hope to use this as a platform to promote the society, advertise events, and ultimately populate it with a variety of clinical skills and OSCE resources for students to use. We are also using it to host our blog - a place where students and staff submit short pieces related to general practice.
