Our History

First established in 1969

The true creation of DUMS is left up to one's own speculation. Dundee University archives show the creation of Dundee University Medical Society in 1969, two years after the creation of Dundee University Medical School.

OUR MASCOT and logo

The name, however, originated one evening in 2015 after President Thomas Pedersen was listening to Jefferson Airplane while making the DUMS Facebook Group.
