The first ball of the academic calander! Laura and Poppy started their roles as Ball Convenors with a bang at the Malmaison. A wonderful night filled with lots of laughs and nice to see the freshers dressed up in their finest (unlike Gaudie).

Hosted at Fingask Castle, DUMS Summer Ball 2022 was a night to remember - or not remember for some people.
This event marked the last ball to be organised by dream team ball convenors Lisa and Miles who have been in these roles for the last 2 years. It will be hard to fill their shoes after the success they've had and their efforts truly came to fruition at Fingask!

As another academic year comes to an end, our DUMS 2021/2022 committee said their goodbyes in splashing style- at WildShore Dundee!
With five final-year committee members graduating as doctors this year, DUMS Committee is losing a collective 15 years' worth of experience! Heartfelt speeches were made, tears were shed, and many glasses were clinked.

With a turn out of 100+, DUMS were glad to run their AGM and elections at DUSA, and elect in a new committee for next academic year!

Dundee saves SNIMS AFTER GLASGOW "MISHAP"
With Glasgow's own university medical society "MedChir" failing to deliver SNIMS two years in a row, the remaining Scottish and Northern Irish medical schools were not only lost for words, but left empty-handed, disappointed and without hope. That was until DUMS committee took initiative, and saved the day by hosting SNIMS 2022: Rise of Dundee.
With 1000+ medical students having attended, it's safe to say that Dundee has solidified it's place in history as the best venue for SNIMS.

Across the month of December, DUMS members grouped together to donate food and toiletry items to Dundee Food Bank. Here's a picture of Rosie, one of our general members, volunteering at Dundee Food Bank and accepting some of our donated items.

REVUE 2021 DONATES TO Women's Aid Dundee!
DUMS REVUE 2021 raised £828 for Women's Aid Dundee! This money will go towards supporting those who suffer from domestic abuse by providing refuge to those in need.

DUMS Lock-In event donates to Dundee Bairns!
In October 2021 DUMS held a Lock-In "House Party" Event at Casa Dundee. This event raised £832.35 for Dundee Bairns Charity! This money will go towards feeding local children in Dundee over the holiday period.
